Two great Danes: Nørgård and Abrahamsen
On the 28th of May, Denmark lost its illustrious composer Per Nørgård (photo) at the age of 92. He left us a substantial oeuvre, including eight symphonies and ten string quartets.
This episode, we’ll listen to works from Nørgard as well as from his most famous student, Hans Abrahamsen.
