In this episode, we’ll hear music selected by Fedor Teunisse, who has been artistic director at HIIIT since 2005 and, for several years, also at Het Muziek — the ensemble formed by the fusion of Slagwerk Den Haag and ASKO|Schönberg. Fedor Teunisse — who began his career as a percussionist — will step down as artistic director of HIIIT in November 2025, but he will continue his role as artistic director at Het Muziek.

You can listen to the complete conversation with Fedor Teunisse in the podcast Muziekmakers der Nederlanden. In this podcast, the Concertzender and New Music Now present musical portraits of creators, composers and musicians in the Netherlands based on their ‘desert island discs’ — the pieces of music they would love to share with the whole world and that play an important role in their work and lives.
