Final chord in threefold (1).
The American singer-songwriter Tucker Zimmerman, who died last month in a house fire, had only just begun a serious career, despite his age, after being ‘discovered’ at the age of eighty by Adrienne Lenker, frontwoman of the band Big Thief. In the four years that followed he toured several times, made an album with Big Thief and published a collection of poems. Old LPs are being reissued. He was already working on new projects, but the last thing released during his lifetime was a triple album he made for the Belgian label Parsifal.
