On Sunday afternoon, June 14, a concert will take place at the Concertgebouw featuring Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Vivaldi’s Nisi Dominus. The performers are top soloists Alexander Chance and Emöke Baráth. You can attend this concert with a €15 discount!
The programme includes Pergolesi’s beloved Stabat Mater and Vivaldi’s Nisi Dominus (with the beautiful ‘Cum Dederit’).
In the Stabat Mater, Alexander Chance is joined by none other than the world-famous soprano Emöke Baráth (who performs Vivaldi’s ‘Nulla in Mundo’ solo).
In a short time, Alexander Chance has risen to become one of the world’s most prominent countertenors. He has worked in Bach’s Passions with John Eliot Gardiner and the Netherlands Bach Society, among others.
The renowned soprano Emöke Baráth is widely regarded as one of the leading sopranos, particularly in the early music circuit.
Il Gardellino belongs to the select group of world-famous Baroque orchestras.
