Based in San Francisco, she’s been making the Bay Area unsafe for years, usually performing with friends and colleagues. She moves with equal ease in jazz circles as she does among trip-hoppers and dance enthusiasts who feed on ethno-trance beats. But 20s retro music and funk are also popular stylistic devices. In addition to her independent work, she frequently composes for theater, film, and dance.
With Ton Maas , she discusses the ins and outs of all these different projects.
