Episode 1395. In this Bach week, we will continue our chronological approach to the cantatas, and will hear cantatas from 1729. The new CD by Benjamin Alard is also featured. Today’s playlist includes the cantata “Man singet mit Freuden vom Sieg” BWV 149, composed for Michaelmas Day on 29 September 1729.
