Balkan Fever.
An album with a colorful palette of virtuoso musical styles, played by Roma people all over the world. The concept of Roma music is as difficult to define as the Roma people themselves. Around 1000 AD, they began an often endless journey from Southeast India. It is certain that they spread in all directions. The Roma are well-known in Eastern Europe and Southern Spain, but large Roma communities can also be found in the US, Latin America, and the Middle East. The Roma often blended their music with what was popular in the region where they resided. This created different branches on the same musical tree.
