Marty Paich 23 Jan 1925, Dave Pell 26 Feb 1925 and Shorty Rogers 19 April 1924; three cool jazz musicians born 100 years ago (almost 101 in the case of Shorty Rodgers) who enjoyed fame with their Little Big Bands.
Moreover, the musical lives of these three West Coast musicians were also very much intertwined!
