In Gorka’s geval was dat een koffietent in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, waar hij door veel optredens te doen (en te bekijken) het vak van artiest leerde. Inmiddels heeft Gorka veertien studioalbums afgeleverd vol met kwaliteitsfolk – zijn soulvolle stem valt als eerste op, maar ook zijn teksten (Gorka is afgestudeerd in filosofie en geschiedenis) zijn van een hoog niveau.
